WoWoshock? Biocraft? Which is the better term for this?
Im not sure how I feel about this...
God damn you, Warcraft. You just gave me a reason not to like Big Daddies. >:-(
Ha! Large daddy.
I would've liked the reference, but frankly, I hate Blizzard.
Huh. I can't believe that they put that in there. It saddens me, frankly.
Oh you guys are just being ridiculous. I just find it funny. Blizzard liked Bioshock enough to make an entire quest in homage to it.
I mean, I don't like WOW, but why sad or mad about them using a Big Daddy? It means they like the game, like the idea, and want to include it in there game. I've seen the quest. It's not an attempt to make fun of Bioshock, (Well, maybe a bit.) but it's mainly a tribute to it. Besides, you get to murder gnomes while riding around in a giant Big Daddy suit. What's not to like about that?
I personally have been playing world of warcraft for a long time (about a month after it was released) and have recently quit because of some issues with blizzard and money. and i love these type of quests. they usually are rather respectful and while they poke some fun at the original it mostly is just a way for them to say "we thought this game was really cool, so we are going to write thousands of lines of code to put it into our game" i think thats it rather nice of them to tell you the thruth. This is only one of many for those of you who haven't tried the pixelated heroin known as WoW.
I think it is just funny myself.
The amount of pop culture references in WoW seems overwhelming, almost. I bet playing the game is like watching an episode of Family Guy--another reason to stay away from it, I guess.
