I'll reply again when I know the exact number, but I'm fairly certain mine is well over 25,000. Not sure though...it could be more.

Well res screws up this stat for everyone, so unfortunately it doesn't necessarily mean much...
I agree with Kashie. Rez really screws up the headshots, and in a sense, I wish it still counted them, but yeah, haha.
I checked my stats, and as of right now...right before the next match...I have 27,017 (not counting rezzers) headshots.

Umm i dont know the exact number but i have 21,800 i think as of yesterday and i have 55K kills, i'd have more but there was a period where i used a lot of RoF crossbow and Machine Gun, and also rez is a big factor, haha i
I don't remember mine, but its probably around 10% only as I mostly used sawed shotty. But recently I started to learn using the EG and had a few amazing shots, mostly pure luck though
E.g. last night the enemy splicer was making huge jumps with legup so I missed the EB shot, but then I still managed to headshot him while he was high up in the air during the jump -- that felt good.
But the best one was like this:
Hephaestus, I jumped up onto the orange fiery tubes in the room with turret + vending machine, both hacked to our team (CW), watching the door close to the turret. I see the door open, enemy splicer spots turret, so steps back and I see the red fog of Houdini just as the door closes. A second later the door opens again, but no splicer visible. I take the blind shot anyway in the middle of the door frame about head-height and "BOOM, headshot" the guy goes down. I wish I had a video cap of that

I remember when I used eb/eg and no-one else I played against did...I though I was being original...

I go for body shots rather than headshots.... :P

Winterblast headshots for tha res lol !! During October, me and rebirth were starting to use wb instead of eb. Switch it up people haha jk u can use whatever, just dnt have a gl as secondary..kinda wack in my opinion

PS: I could have much more hs kills but I some times use non headshot loadouts against noobs or in AG
I tryed that and its just 2 hard and even when you learned it theres no way it can beat a good EB/CB user since fi you both face eachother and you both stun, you wil be the only 1 stunned since WB dosent stun me while you wait until you can shoot again you are already dead since WB dosent prefent the oppennent from shooting T-T
True true mister, that's y I use dash as tha secondary plasmid with wb or telek to catch tha arrows, u jus have to be quick but then again yur opponent could be fast with tha headshots, it goes either way. man too bad there ain't MLG for this game, that would settle a lot of disagreements on here haha. I'm my opinion tha BD leaderboard is tha most legit. Fu*k tha total wins/hours and k/d. Big daddy is tha "hulking online powerhouse" lol
Question to ps3 splicers : is cola still on top or neh?
I noticed when people use Houdini they are so predictable, I headshot a splicer who I saw turn invisible 'cause he kept running straight at me. Also, I think Houdini users forget that people can hear their footsteps. Also, if you had hit them with an arrow before they turn invisible the arrow remains visable LOL.
not really.. suit campers will win that one. I hardly ever get to use bd suit for that very reason cause some camper always gets to it first

i have as of now 24,400 headshots, i might be a couple dozen off in either direction. I heading for 30K
Maybe someone here can explain one hit kill head shots to me. I'm getting really pissed off at this game, to the point of regularly screaming at my TV. I cannot get 1 hit, or 2 hit kills shots.... ever! I'm currently using the crossbow with the fire rate increase mod and HEADHUNTER! Using winterblast, electroshock, or telekenisis to first stun my opponents, I then have to hit them at least 3 times with the crossbow. Just this last game, I used winterblast behind another player and tapped him in the back of the head 3 times and the bastard turned around and killed me with 1 hit!! WTF!?!?! I feel like I'm throwing tissue paper here. Is everyone else using some kind of cheat? Please help me to understand why I'm getting slaughtered despite unloading an entire arsenal into my opponents.
Use no upgrade on your crossbow for a one-hit kill. But you still need headhunter, and to hit them with EB or WB first. You can also use "damage increase", and that won't require a plasmid hit.

You need 100 damage to kill, and your rate-of-fire upgraded crossbow with a head-shot does only 61.25, so you need to such shots to kill, or 3 body-shots. As Rybow said, you need head-hunter tonic or the damage-increase upgrade to get to 1-shot-kill level, but both options also need a plasmid hit electrobolt or winter blast. If you have both damage increase and head-hunter then you do not need a plasmid hit.
On the other hand, the elephant gun delivers a 1-head-shot kill without any plasmid, tonic or upgrade.
As of right now i have 25,500 headshots
So I've switched to the elephant gun and am now having better results. I was just in a match of SOTF and I'm convinced this other player has some sort of cheat enabled. This guy only has to tag you once with his crossbow and you're dead. That kind of ☺☺☺☺ is no fun as there is no opportunity for a fight. Sure, maybe he gets a head-shot every time, but it seems unlikely to me. I can regularly win a match of SOTF. With this guy in the game, I only got to 50 before he hit 200.
He's probably legit. Was he using Electro Bolt also? If so, it happens like that quite often.

You just have to work on your counters and hitting them quick. Try to keep to cover, avoid open areas, and keep your weapons loaded.
Are you guys using a standard PS3 controller or one of those mouse and keyboard like combos? I just can't get that sort of precision with a joystick. I feel like if I had a keyboard and mouse setup, it'd be a lot easier.
Oh, and is it just me, or do people who have purchased the DLC pack seem to have an unfair advantage? When I'm in a tournament with people who are at, or under 40, presumably with no DLC, I do just fine. When I play with people who are above 40 and obviously have the DLC pack, I get my ass handed to me. They all get one hit kills, their weapons seem to mow me down in a fraction of the time that mine take to do comparable damage, and all around it just sucks. If so, this seems ☺☺☺☺ty to let people pay for an edge. At least isolate those players to their own matches.
All it is is EB/LOL, you can start doing it at lvl 18 when you get the elephant gun. They just make people stand still for them so they can get an easy headshot, which with certain weapons, Elephant gun, or Crossbow+head hunter, is a one shot kill.
