BioShock.exe Dissapears

When I shut down my computer and restart the Bioshock.exe file disappears.
The first time AVG picked it up as a virus, but since I updated AVG it didn't.
I reinstalled the game and the same thing happened again, the file just disappeared. I checked the virus vault and found the previous file from the first time AVG picked it and restored that file. Now I'm not sure thats the latest version since when I installed the game the second time it did an automatic patch. I can't see where I can download this patch either. Any help appreciated.

The previous update to AVG seemed to have solved a lot of problems, but just in case, there was another update today (30-Aug-07) which would be worth a try.

to update, assuming AVG 7.5.x.x Free Edition, open the AVG control panle, click the update button at the bottom.
