R3: Rome vs Egypt

Here is the first match of round three. In one corner we have The Roman Empire who just beat Persia. Facing Rome is Egypt who just lost to the French, however they were good enough to make the return in the lost civs vote. Who will win, I don't know, that my friend is up to you. I voted Rome - better UUs and better UA, IMO.

Egypt has a nice UA and UB but I am not impressed with their UU. In the case of Rome none of their UU's might be superb but they are good and because I do build a lot of buildings and rarely specialize their UA suits me well. Rome it is.

Oh no it's Egypt!
hahahhahahah.... oh so funny.
Egypt's an alright civ but the fastest in wonder collection(doesn't really help them late game because of less modern wonders). Once, I managed to get a great engineer withtin 20 turns of the game and immediately made a factory. I was making wonders in like 4-8 turns, epic pwnage.
But Rome's so much better for early and late game

Hard choice for me, since these are my two favorites.

I went with Rome, legionnaire roads, + production bonus for the whole empire, thats hard to beat.
