Okay, so Microsoft just released a new update for the '360, including a total overhaul of all the menus and features the system boasts.
However, has anyone else experienced some EPIC upgrades to some games? I am extremely confident that they kicked up the memory usage of the machine about a thousand notches. Here's some things I've experienced:
BioShock 2: Has the frame rate of a premium gaming computer, and the graphics to go with it now. Used to have a good frame rate and respectable graphincs, but now it's got an amazing frame rate, and graphical effects seem to have been kicked up.
Red Dead Redemption: Again, a higher frame rate and now the draw distance has been extremely upgraded. On the road along the cliff to MacFarlane's Ranch, the shadow at about noon would be irritating- it would cut out not-too-many feet away from the player. Now the entire shadow is visible before you even get on the road. Grass would kinda dissapear not too far away, too. Now you can see it spanning for a long distance away.
Anyone else experience anything like this?
