This is probably one of my favorite games of all time. And seeing as how Jericho is going to be released this fall (another Clive Barker Game) I was wondering if anyone else a) played and lover undying b) thought Jericho could possibly be as good and c) know if there are any plans for a remake? thanks
I played undying and I liked it a lot but it frustrated me because the magic just didn't seem powerful enough. I didn't finish it in the end but I keep meaning to pick up another copy and give it another chance (hopefully this time round I won't be expecting as much, so I might enjoy it more). But yes, I loved the characters and the story, the setting and the atmosphere (I just got frustrated by the magic.).

Looks like I gave up on it a little too soon. Something's been bugging me to pick up another copy and give it another try, but I've basically been trying to ignore it.
Tell me you at least got far enough to use the scyth and the phoenix!

I'm not sure if I got to the scythe. I got as far as the tunnels with all the undead but it bugged me so much that the beasts I was summoning only lasted as long as it took to summon them (so I couldn't move and have beasts) and that the spell that lit up the environment didn't get bright enough quickly enough, I kind of just gave up (but I am going to play it again. I'm going to pick up another copy and give it another try)).

Back to Jericho for a minute, since I haven't played Undying. I'm not normally a fan of the whole team based gameplay, where you do one thing with somebody, and follow it up with a quick move from somebody, and then you do something else with somebody... but this game looks fun. I'm more interested in the story line. Going slowly back in time, while fighting evil? Awesome! So I think I'll keep an eye on the game.
Ah Undying..the game that started my undying () love for Clive Barker...The story and areas were really cool, and I even have the title page song on my Ipod. Unfortunately, I was never able to finish it. My phobia for tentacled things made it so as soon as the floating alien heads showed up my computer turned off.
