I am a completist and have every achievement from BioShock and every achievement but one for BioShock 2. It's the one that requires you to win a match on each of the new maps. Unfortunately, when I play multiplayer I never end up on any of them. Most other multiplayer games (i.e. Halo 3, Modern Warfare 2) have a seperate playlist for new maps. This is what we need. Besides, I love the new maps and it would be nice to enjoy them once in a while.

As Cody said, it WAS supposed to happen, but from what we've been told, since the engine is old, it's hard to code things like this and, after not giving us an update in FOREVER, Liz finally came out and said that it was canceled.
Just go into ADAM Grab and boost it since you're not getting it any other way

I used to get in Xbox Live parties with other splicers and veto until we got a new map.
And, every once in a while I would get thrown into a new map for no reason at all. My CW team won on Siren's Alley and that was all I needed to get the achievment.
So, moral of story: give it lots of time or invest time into inviting people you know have the DLC.
Na, 2k doesn't care about BioShock 2 anymore.
I was gonna ask the same thing as jkripper. Sucks there's nothing happening, especially since it's 800 microsoft points wasted on DLC i've yet to play in matchmaking... Reach is getting abit boring so I think i'll play some Bioshock 2 multiplayer tomorrow because getting zapped and headshotted is less annoying than people hiding in armor lock everytime I drop their shields
i have actuelly never bin on the new maps and im happy some one has the balls to talk about it
A public match room can only veto a non-dlc map once and then if it's not a dlc map then you can't veto it again.

I FINALLY got the achievement! I played ADAM grab for 7 hours straight and boosted (I'm so ashamed...). It was just a matter of finding other boosters and veto-ing non DLC maps. When we got stuck a map we didn't need, we'd let one person win so the match was over in 3 min instead of 10. I boosted on every new map but still didn't get the achievement & had a complete breakdown but then somebody I was playing with suggested actually winning instead of tieing on a new map was all I needed to unlock it & he was right! Thanks to everyone on this forum for their helpful suggestions; Markostenio for proving it was possible; and Semple007 & Zissou Team for playing with me the entire time even though they got it alot earlier. Okay I'm done with my speech now.

lol@boosters. Anyway if there isn't a map playlist why not just keep bring the issue up until they fix it? Naturally, a company feels it may be ok to lose a couple out of the player community but if too many people complain then naturally they will be compelled to change statements about it. It worked for them changing their mind saying PC patches will be discontinued, and being an apologist and shooting down valid grievances will only hinder the process down more.
I know, but I had to actually win on a new map that I had already tied for the lead on to unlock the achievement. Not exactly sure why...
