    I wonder if any game company has ever gotten positive feedback for using GFWL?

    From PC gamers? No. The only time I hear praise is from people how primarily play on the Xbox 360 who like to up their gamer score and that is one of the reasons they say that they like it uping their gamer score and achievements then showing that off to friends...

    Correct me if I am out of bounds, but I have been playing with the Ion Laser. Attempting to increase the output, I have put "addweaponstatupgrade Laser damage" into my user.ini folder. No success yet. If any of you have tried any variant that has worked, I would like to hear more.

    Well - typically modding isn't a good thing to discuss on forums (at least as far as I know) - and I can't really answer this because I didn't do it. My question is - What's wrong with the power? The thing annihilates enemies. My only complain with Minervas Den was that it was too easy...

    Forgive my lust for power, but I am never satisfied with a weapon that cannon kill something in one hit. Besides, you would have fun being Muhammad Ali and slugging a Big Daddy.

    Just a final note from me. Just finished Minerva's Den (I'm a bit behind on things...), and I wanted to give some positive feedback.

    I waited a long time to get to BS2, because of waiting for things to be fixed up right. I was surprised at how good it actually was, and it beat my lowered expectations by far after all that waiting. Minerva's Den is excellent. It's everything that BS2 got right, but also "fixes" the few things BS2 stumbled on.

    A+

    Why do this kind of thing to pc gamers is it because of people pirating games?

  10. #1090
    I have bought minerva's den launch day but for time problem I'm playing it only now.
    Am I wrong or it have really really bad texture?

  11. #1091
    another question, is there a resume of the story of minerva's den?
    I like to read resume after played it to see if I catched all from the story.

    Well, I don't know of a detailed summary, but the BioShock Wikia has info on the DLC's story, as well as the audio diaries.

    Well the textures in BioShock 2 and Minerva's Den weren't as good as BioShock in my opinion, relative to when they were released, but also BioShock 2 (and MD) suffered more from how the levels were built in terms of poorer textures are more noticeable.

    Especially on PC when you are sitting close to the screen not like sitting 10 feet away or whatever from a TV, the textures don't always look great when you consider the PC's processing power and how good some other games look.

    Overall though, I let myself enjoy the experience and looked past any textures that were distracting.

    thank relight.

    just finished the DLC, great addition, quite short (I finished it in 5 hours without any speed run) but ok for a DLC.

    Hate to resurrect a dead thread, but I've not had a chance to download or play the DLC yet or convey my thanks to Elizabeth and 2K for the effort of development and putting up with the fan base.
    So thanks Elizabeth and 2K, I'll get around to playing the DLC in the next few weeks.

    Enjoy!

    The DLC turned out really nice imo, it fits into the lore of Rapture brilliantly. 2K did a very nice job and I am extremely grateful they stuck to their guns and offered the DLC across all platforms.

    Hi all at 2k have really enjoyed md thank you so much. On my third play through now. I notice on the loading screen the game makes reference to gravity well 2 or 3. Does anyone know if you buy it at a gatherers garden or find it some where in the game?. Would love to splash a bit of acid on the spider splicers

    So this game's seen how many patches now? Yet, the HUD issue STILL persists! This is ridiculous. Such a simple problem; yet, no solution... still.

    When is the HUD issue going to be rectified? It still happens... when you walk through the ocean for the first time and get into the flood/drain chamber, the HUD just disappears - for good it seems.

    Edit: the specific HUD issue I am regarding is the helmet disappearing from the edges of your screen.

    FYI, BioShock 2 is by 2K Marin and Infinite is by Irrational Games. Different developer. So no real reason to boycott unless you just want to punish the publisher. (But that means you have to miss a whole lot of other titles, too, like Borderlands 2!)

    Hey there -

    You might be in a territory that has a different structure for patches - can you PM or email me at 2KElizabeth@2KGames.com and let me know what region you are in, what platform you are playing on, and what issues you are having? I'll investigate for you.

    Hey there,

    If you didn't get a reply, there's a chance it didn't get to me. Can you resend to 2KElizabeth@2KGames.com? I'll let you know next week if I don't see it still.

    found that I am happy with my multi-monitor setup using fov hack in the user.ini file by binding the keys ala:
    Left= ResetFOV
    Up= SetFOV 100
    Right= SetFOV 90
    Down= SetFOV 110

    However is there a fix/workaround documented for the firstperson weapon and hand views? ( they dissapear vertically from the screen )

    Also seems to be a lot lacking when viewing the game in 3D.

    Otherwise, I like the game very much and feel it deserves what experience state of the art hardware could give the immersion level. ( story certainly deserves it ).

    First post here.. although I have followed along since the beginning. There has ben a lot of negative energy. So much so that it was a while until I discovered that Minerva's den had been released after all.

    Nice Job on the DLC.
    Funny thing is...
    If you think about it. If the trials and den were in fact released on the PC in a timely manner. The quality after market experience would have probably been considered the DLC gold standard for the industry to emulate. Really feel sorry that what should have been a feather in yer cap, turned into a festering wound for so long.

    Definitely postmortem material?

    Definitely think liz deserves a raise for the experience.

    Back to the widescreen issues... It's really nice that forums like widescreengamingforum exist to provide workaround solutions and tools for multi-monitor enthusiasts when we support the industry with our wallets to an extreme degree.

    ( a burger flipper who has the sli to run 3 27 inch acers 3d monitors chooses to support the technical frontiers of gaming rather than pay rent )
    How bout a little return love before my eviction with a config hack for the first person misenscene?

    I'm sad that there will be no patches to accomplish this. But if yo have Ken's irrational ear perhaps it is not to late for an Infinite solution?

    ( ps. how bout an image tag for fan art submision? )

    We're actually testing images in a couple forums currently - and in the interim, links are always welcome (or you can PM me). There's never censorship here - and we love fan art.

    In the early days, we had some issues with porn and spam images, which is why we cut the tag - but they are making a come back. If you guys want them in BioShock, that can be arranged!

    Hello, 2K Elizabeth.
    I e-mailed to you once again. Classical answer - i`ll check thats for you. One again after all of this time.
    So, why you do not answered to me? I think that answer is - NO. There are no patch & DLC for CIS Bioshock 2.
    This is awful unacceptable customer support. Please, say to me only one reason why me and all CIS customers need to buy 2k products if it do not even receive patches?
    ... and after that all of you (game developers) will say what level of piracy is very high in CIS? Wonder why?
    I payed my money for Collector`s edition and what now? I want my money back, because if i knew what for this version will never be even a patch, i will never bought it!
    Do you think that me and my friends will buy Bioshock Infinite?
