    Digital VS Retail + DLCs

    Just wanted some clarification on something.

    With the retail copy, are the DLCs from Steam available for me to use? Or are the DLCs available only to those with the Steam-version downloaded game??

    Anyone know?

    Once you give Steam your Civ 5 serial key, it doesn't matter where you got the game. Steam treats them all the same.

    Yeah, technically EVERY version is a Steam version because even if you buy it from a retail store you still have to install Steam and enter your serial key there. Then you would download patches and DLC through the Steam interface.
