As a PC player, I'm trying to imagine what it will be like actually being able to play game modes other than team deathmatch. Or being able to play late at night. Or being able to quit a bad match and then play a new one with different players, because there are more than 9 people in the world playing at once.
It will be a brave new world.

Just imagine what it will be like playing a game where every single high level opponent doesn't hit you with electrobolt 1/4 of a second after you appear on their screen, and every single low level opponent doesn't have infinite grenades.

Black Ops? Really X? I'm not likely to leave BS2 as my primary shooter, probably b/c its the only one I'm really good at- im kinda bad at TF2 and I'm not a fan of more realistic shooters. That said, BS2 is pretty flawed, so I really wish Infinite was gonna have some multiplayer- I bet Irrational could do a good job on it technical wise with maybe a bit better balance, but for me nothing is likely to beat BS2 gameplay at its best any time soon.

Black Ops will be great, Reach is bad and i traded it in for medal of honour which is pretty damn good, imagine if you will, a world where bioshock 2 multiplayer is played on 2k servers.........

I've played my time on Bioshock 2, and definantly played my time on Mw2. I rented MoH and didn't exactly fancy the multiplayer (I played the single player through though, which was fun).
I already have Black Ops on pre-order, and I wouldn't have done so if I didn't think that it will easily surpass Mw2's exploit-filled-cluster☺☺☺☺ multiplayer... (not saying I didn't play the hell out of Mw2 and BS2, it's just after so long they became VERY repetitive...)
The big thing I'm excited about in Black Ops (non-multiplayer related) is the campaign. It has the most intriguing storyline I've seen yet from a CoD game (given there mostly about the MP). I think that the 'Cold War black operations' is a good concept, and I'm excited to see how it will play out.
Also am interested in seeing what BS: Infinite's multi will be like, if they do decide it to be worth putting in. But since that's in 2012, and I don't own an x-box (so no reach...), I'll probably be playing a crap load of Black Ops (provided the Multiplayer isn't a complete tank, even though I doubt it will...)
As a side note, the only game (in terms of MP) I never have seemed to not get tired of is Team Fortress 2. Dunno what about it =/ PC mods ftw I guess =D

In like 5 hours I'm leaving down to Florida for 2 weeks for a vacation, which is kind of nice because once I get back (Nov 7) it will only be a few days until BO ^_^

...i didnt leave Bioshock when Fallout NV came out, as well as Fable 3...so i dont think i will quit for more Cod...im tired of playing against MLG players on those types of games.
But i'll get it for the zombies i guess.
I'm not gonna get it right away, I will wait for it to be fixed up a bit and to see if it is terrible or not.
Hint to anyone looking to get a game: Don't listen to reviewers, listen to the people who play the game. (or you can listen to Yatzee, like I do when learning about a game. He is good at dissecting games.

Hmmm...that's interesting. Most of my CoD 4 playing friends hate MW2 (One of them only plays it because of the shiny graphics XD)
Well, I dislike MW2 quite a lot, actually, and can only play it for small amounts of time. I know there are other problems with it, but I have faith in Treyarch for Black Ops. I know others don't, but as long as I enjoy it, I'm fine.

The reason people don't like COD is because you usually pay for your mistakes. It's not like Bioshock where the only detrimental thing is EB/XX and you can usually escape your opponent. in COD you have one chance to get it right and if you don't your dead.
The thing I dont like is how quick it is to get a kill, Sure its fast in BS2 aswell. But I like how it is in Halo how its quite a few shots before a kill.
