    Koean Civilization

    hello,

    Is this civilization provided officially or via a mod because since my start (civ3) she was there and I must say that in 5, I miss it.

    Thanks in advance

    Not at the moment. Expect it in future expansions. I hope Sejong will be the leader for Korea.

    There's a big civ pack that adds the Koreans as a Civ

    http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=391327

    The one in the Civ5 mod center doesn't work for some reason so get this one directly.

    You also have to apply the current fixes to get custom Civs working in the game

    In this mod the Korean leader is Wang Kon, UA is 20% great people production and +2 science from strategic resources, UU is Hwacha, UB is Seowon

    thanks again

    - edit -

    I had already made this mod but the problem is that there was no other city name or display just "TXT_KEY_CIV_XXXX_DESC" cost I had deleted

    I'll try again

    I did a quick test with the latest version (v16) seems to found city names ok. I have Seoul and Pyongyang. Hopefully the rest work ok as well.

    Just to reiterate you must do the xml fixes to get any custom civs to show up since the latest patch

    Have fun

    Go to My Documents\My Games\Civilization 5\MODS

    Create a new directory in there. Try to follow the format of existing directories.

    Extract the files into this directory.

    Go into Civ5 and enable the mod.

    I see from your fuzzy screenshot you are running the game in French. I did a test of this as well and can confirm the behavior you are seeing.

    Regrettably the mod works in English but apparently not in other languages. I'm not sure if this is something specific to this mod, or to other civilization mods in general.

    You could set the game language for Civ5 specifically to English. But I assume you want to play Civ5 in English, as much as I would in French

    You can repost to the Civfanatics forum and see if they can change the mod to better support non-English languages. You also might get some help in the mods section of this forum as well. Sorry I can't help you more than this.

    I'm French so it's normal that I play with the game in French

    but in the CIV5civilizations.xml I have:
    <Column name="Description" type="text" reference="Language_en_US(Tag)"/>
    then when I add this:
    <Column name="Civilopedia" type="text" reference="Language_en_US(Tag)"/>

    This should work since there is "en-US".

    then I change en-US by fr-FR?
