3/4ths of the games I join and I get the pleasure of staring at the "connecting to host" screen forever..
Lobbies seem to hang around forever after being created - even if they're abandoned or if the game has started.
It's gotten to the point where people are actually naming the games things like "6:06 pm EST" so you know when the game was created.
Any word on when we'll get a fix for this ?
Yea there is at least 10 hung games at this moment.

After some testing, it's look like it's very difficult, or impossible to join game that are started. and since there is no info in the lobby if games are started or not, you have a lot of chance to try to connect to an allready started game.Originally Posted by Beliathon
Every time we have (up to 6) test MP in public knowing the host and knowing the game is not start yet, it was never problem to connect to it.

You can come to the Civplayers chat lobby, it is very active and we set up games in the chat lobby and join them by clicking on the hosts name. Not by the games lists that are filtered by Steam to regional/low ping lists.
