    Icons Issue (NVidia)

Getting garbled icons. Card is NVidia 7900GS. Just installed the latest driver (08/10/2010) hoping to clear up the problem but no luck.

    Example:

    http://img253.imageshack.us/img253/5...en0009copy.jpg

Note the consistency of errors among 'worker jobs' and yet 'world wonders' are fine. These errors pop up in a few places but not in others. For example, the Food icon on the tooltip has an odd red spot but the yield icons are clean looking and fine.

I am having the exact same issues with my 7900 GS as well. I also get glitches in the main menu (6 or 7 "lines" seem to be out of sync) and on most of the icons in the tech tree. My drivers are all up-to-date as well. I even tried the most recent beta drivers but that didn't solve the problem either.

I'm sporting a 460GTX and have the exact same issues with icons, and even text in tooltips and in the city-screen. And as the OP, I have updated drivers.

Just an update to note the issue persists in the latest patch (1.0.0.62).

I'm having the same issues, here's a copy of my info.

I'm running Civ V on a machine with a GeForce 7950GT and getting the artifacts shown in the screen shots below. I've uninstalled my drivers and done a clean install with the newest driver 260.99 I've also made sure to get the directx up to date and i'm still having problems. Any other advice would be helpful.

Updated to latest Nvidia driver and latest Civ 5 (1.0.1.141) - problem persists. I would love to hear a solution if anyone has found one. Thanks.
