2 players small map: Is playable for a good amount of turn
3 players small map: Is slow, laging but playable for some time.
4 players normal map: Well be patient some time it goes some time not.
5 players normal-big map: Is very slow, crash, freeze, noway to move unit for one or more turn, reload often, players get disconnected at start and/or when playing, sometime the game can't start cause one or many players can't hit the "done" button it's just doesn't hilight.
6 players big-huge map: Well not possible as you get the same problem than with 5 players but worst.
This is tried with the same people all the time in different configuration to be sure it is not one or more of the players that are at fault. And I can garantie it is not.
The testing has been over 150 hours totalt, and this is done ONLY in private Multiplayers game.
Every computer are at least quad core 2,8ghz with 4 gb ram, and all ATI card minimum HD 4870. all Windows7 64 bit. Internet speed for the host 15mb/5mb. the other player got from 6mb/2mb to 20mb/2mb. We chose the host because of the highest upload. we have try to use different host but it doesn't simce to change anything, it is not even slower at game start at least. We didn't try long with other host.
We always fill up empty slot with the maximum amoun of AI, CityState are always on standard number.

- Continents
- Small continent
- Archipelagos
Speed:
Fast to marathon
If we can be of some help to resolve MP issue let us now how we can help the dev by sending log or something perhaps. We are veteran Civ players that only want the best for the game, and are weeling to help.
