    Future AI Patch Plans?

    Are there any future plans to work on making better AI and such for Bioshock? Like, for instance, any plans to make it so that when your gun goes off, nearby splicers will actually react to it and attack you as if they heard the sound without the bullets hitting right next to them? Or maybe implement something like that and have it so the splicers have a sort of randomized behavior on them when they're initially spawned that could range from insane to hunter. Something to dictate what they actually do?

    I know it's a bit ludicrous to ask about something like this. I just felt the AI in the game was a bit lacking in terms of tracking and combat.

    meh i noticeed it especailly oneasy mode on hard mode it actaully makes the game a lot more enjoyable cuz you take more percautions and you do more effective actions

    Even on hard mode you can shoot right near them and they do not react most of the time.

    The AI in this game are a little dumb.

    Yeah. It gets really irritating. I should be getting owned more by the AI. :P

    If you were a deranged Spider Slicer would you really notice gunshots with all the leadheads wandering around.

    Not a bad idea at all, I mean not a complete overhaul, but perhaps some little tweaks here and there. The AI is quite good and what's expected from a next gen game, but it could indeed be a bit better.
