Support for Duke on Windows?

Hey, I've got the Windows Duke pre-ordered but kinda worried with the news BioShock had support dropped. I didn't buy that but I guess it had bugs and no DLC so if a big franchise (bigger compared to Duke) doesn't get supported I guess I'm wondering what chance Duke has? Don't want a console version, but I'm nervous with having $50 down for the PC game if it's going to turn out buggy. Should I stick with it or just wait until after launch to be safe?

Odds are the developer Gearbox, will support the PC version just fine...as long as the publisher (2K) allowed the patch to be shipped which I'm sure they would. In Bioshock II's case, 2K both developed and published the game, so thats a different animal...

For the exact same reason Mafia II gripes aren't allowed in this section, Bioshock 2 gripes aren't allowed in this section. No one knows what 2K/Gearbox is going to do with Duke, or any game in the future, and jumping to conclusions before it happens won't help anyone.
