Huge marathon game hangs at turn 611

I'm playing on a huge map with marathon turns and when I press "Next turn" to end turn #611 (1432 AD) the "Please wait" message comes up, but it just loads & loads without ever getting to turn #612. Here is some of my system info:

If it has gone that many turns and has not had a problem before I doubt it is your computer having problems.

Is this for Civ V?
