Do Forests Regrow?

Since they took out a lot of idiosyncrasies of Civ, wondering if they failed to copy the forest regrow thing too?

I haven't seen any forests grow at all, so I would say no. I don't recall reading the manual that it does either. I wish they would, I liked this feature.

I'd like to see some forest growth (or planting via workers) in the unmodded game. Honestly, I really missed the planting feature in Civ 4 as well, and feel that it should be brought back with a mid-game tech.
