Help creating a new unit with special abilities..
After scouring the units, promotions and lua code I still cant figure this out. I'm trying to create a *unit* with a special ability, without the need for a promotion. This would probably also involve creating a new command for this unit specifically to do it's job.
For example, I'd like to create a unit that can heal other units or perhaps allow units adjacent to it to heal themselves that normally would not be allowed to? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Most "unique" abilities are given by free promotions. Like the scout's ability to ignore terrain cost, it's not that it's directly attached to the scout. The scout is just automatically given that promotion for no XP whenever it's created. Same with Embarkation.
