    Lightbulb confused about charity donation option

    I came across This article on neoseeker which said (and I quote): "$250,000 will be donated to four education-based charities, as decided by the customer upon installation."

    I wasn't given this option upon installing. Anyone know more about it?

    Was anyone else given this option?

    I got it.

    It also mentions it inside the front cover of the box, where it notes:

    "Charity selection available until Dec. 31, 2010. Not valid in all territories".

    Maybe it's not available where you are?

    I wonder why it wouldn't be valid in all territories. Some weird stuff about unfair competition?
