Is Babylon in the SQLite database?
Could somebody else who has the digital deluxe version check if Babylon is listed as a civilization in the database?
I can use other peoples mods (such as the in game clock) but whenever I try to use a simple one I created using ModBuddy it has no effect.
In database.log:
.... irrelevant error messages about invalid references that everybody gets

Somebody else had the same error when trying to run other peoples mods and worked around it by using Steam to "view integrity of game cache". Mine had an error and it fixed it.
I using Vista SP2 with a 2.2Ghz dual core Pentium, 4GB of memory and a ATI Radeon HD 5570 with 1GB at 1280 x 1024 (75Hz). Both the desktop and the game use that resolution. I've tried running with both DX9 and DX11. I'm using the latest video driver (released 8/25/2010).
The modinfo file has:
<Actions>
<OnModActivated>
<UpdateDatabase>DLC_buildings.xml</UpdateDatabase>
<UpdateDatabase>DLC_civ.xml</UpdateDatabase>
<UpdateDatabase>DLC_traits.xml</UpdateDatabase>
<UpdateDatabase>DLC_units.xml</UpdateDatabase>
</OnModActivated>
</Actions>
at the bottom, and that has the right files so I think it correctly interpreted the actions.
I'm trying to tweak the Babylon civilization, which was a DLC. I installed SQLite Manager in Firefox and "browse and search" of "civilizations" doesn't list Babylon as a civilization (it lists all others, including minor and barbarians) so I'm wondering if my problem is related to it being part of optional downloadable content. The mod guide didn't mention any issues about DLC.
Suggestions?
