    reduce number of AI cities

I believe the AI produce too many cities, if there a way i could limit the number of cities the AI build? Maybe something I could change in the code?

AI city spread really depends on the civilization. Agressive civs like the French, Montezuma, Iroquois tend to be very aggressive with their expansion. I've seen other civs that are obviously going for cultural or scientific victories, expand much less.

This is true and it cripples the over expanders. It needs toning down a bit. Its that same story from years past where there is one square of land 8000 miles away situated on a toxic landfill surrounded by evil bears in the middle of someone elses empire and every last AI settler is breaking its neck speeding towards it. Though it does cripple them it seems to do it much less so than it would a player. I'm not quite sure how the AI does so well on so many fronts with such unhappiness and negative gold but I guess its a good thing they do since they already are weak at best.
