I have this same issue...bought a whole new graphics card (GTX 460) because apparently my 8800 GT didn't support 10.1, which was supposedly the problem...and I STILL cannot play DX11 version..

Update on my problem...if I remove the DX9.exe, and then use the DX11.exe (or select DX11 from either of the launchers) the DX11.exe process appears in my task manager...for all of 10 seconds...right after the Steam box that tells me it is loading my game disapears, so does the DX11.exe from the processes list in task manager, never to be seen or heard from again...any clues guys?

So I was looking thru this list of stuff (of which I have NO idea what any of it means, LOL) but I saw some things that bothered me. Like the Deamon Tools. I used that a LONG time ago, uninstalled it a LONG time ago, and it is still up there...

    What exactly does Hijackthis report?

  12. #12
It reports, specific sections of the registry, O4 and O23 are the important ones, they are Startup items, and Startup Services.

    looking through now

  13. #13
any news? I really appreciate your help

  14. #14
Im so sorry, i guess my reply didnt save yesterday...

Anyhow the DAEMON TOOLS reference, is just a toolbar.

I dont see anything bad in that list at all, when i find more, ill try to update you

  15. #15
