CIV V: Endgame slowdown + HUGE units

I posted this on Steam, thought it should be brought up here as well when some others started confirming they had the issue as well.

    http://forums.steampowered.com/forum...php?p=17118302

    Issue:
    Hey all,

I will try to get a screenshot of this up next week, but does anyone have the issue where at the end of the game you do something on the map, then click on one of the circles on the right, the camera jumps to the next town and in the background there are ginormous units and mountains/landscapes in the background?

I figured it was my video card overheating, it was only at 50 degree C, which is fairly cool.

I added a 120 mm intake fan on the door and it appeared to be less sudden then prior play, but the temp still got up to 48, 49, and eventually 50 degree C.

    any ideas?
    Specs:
Yes, that is what worried me.

I live in so cal and the room temp was around 85-90 and I had a fan as well as the fans in the case blowing into the pc as well as adding the side door fan.

    AMD 965 + H50 stock speed
MSI ATI 4850 (512MB), has the newer MSI cooling design with the 2 fans+copper pipe (called quadpipe) <= Requested RMA
    Corsair Dominator DDR3 1333 4x2GB 7-7-7-20 + Corsair ram cooling fan
    Gigabyte MA790GX-UD3H motherboard
Seagate 7200.11 500 GB OS drive, 7200.12 1tb Data drive, 5400 RPM 1.5TB backup of data drive

H50 is in push/pull (2 120's in the back), + the two ram fan, 3 120s in the front, 1 in the door, 200mm fan on top, fan pushing cold air in room to the case front/cycling air around the case, 1 120 above the h50 and the one on the door.

    Should be very cool.

Anyone else having this apart from the steam forums?

    I haven't seen it - but got a screenshot?

I haven't had time to game, I will play the next one with a large map and so forth (on smaller maps and w/ less opponents the issue doesn't happen).

Yes, i see it from time to time, but the "ghost images" go away quickly
