It was a small touch I loved in Civ IV--they should add it back in.

The game needs this. The players need this. The developers need this (to keep their jobs)

They butchered out so many things that made civ what it was, that end game graph i just one more cool thing i miss.

big $$$ already dumbed down movies in 1990s and after, now everybody is happy when all what is in movie are cool explosions some blood and no story or something to think about.

time to make all games dumb simple and god forbid forcing anybody to think or get frustrated from lack of skill.

We are all winners of special olympics here.

No Victory movies I can just about tolerate, but the end-game historical summary was THE reason for playing Civ

With so many core features missing, I wonder if these things were cut because of dead-line/budget issues.

I'll admit I'm ok with all the game mechanic changes since it's a new version and a new vision...

...but to not have any sort of historical summary report is a bit shameful.

SC2 does it the right way and provides so many views on what happened during the game.

Too bad with this you basically get some arbitrary comparison to great 'leaders' with no metrics or relative data points and no historical summary of the game/civs.

That should be provided regardless of the design changes as it is independent.

Well said, it is very sad that they released a strategy game ( the most famous franchise ) without an option to analyse you decisions after you won/lost.
    hopefully they add it back

Win or lose, they outta add the graph thingie and a an ending video.

Was a bit of a let down after 12-15 hours of play to have it end the way it did.

And the funny thing is that despite playing Civilization since 1971, I'm pretty new to Civilization :P, yet my first game just to learn the basics was a dual game on pangea continent on average difficulty.

It went somewhat fast and...it ended with me having the rank of the best leader, and no other metrics to say why.

Kind of a let down when despite having fun, it tells me I did as good as I could ever basically do and this was my very first game learning the new mechanics on normal difficulty.

    Ummm.

    Ok, so I'm pro?

Answer: Yes, I'm always pro at everything! Including toast making and inflatable raft races. But the fact is I don't even understand basic concepts yet and have no real clue what I did right or wrong to be compared to the best leader. Bah!

(P.S. I love clicking on the button "Go Advanced" just to get a normal rich text editor. Once again, I'm so pro)

Not only do I miss it, but just think of this:

The end game replay IN STRATEGIC VIEW!!!

How cool it would be to set filters or different views and let it run. Put it on Political for the classic Civ view. Put it on Units and watch them run around. Put it on Improvements and watch your Civ fill up. Etc etc.

That would be SOOO doggone cool.
