I love Steam, I hate Steam. If I lived somewhere without the internet or had a very slow connection I would be hating Firaxis for forcing you to go online to install and play this game.

However, when I purchased a new computer this past February I faced the daunting task of having to reinstall and repatch all of my favorite games. When I reinstalled Steam and logged on, Steam reinstalled all my Steam games for me, with the latest patches applied.

So, just like life, you take the good with the bad. I've learned to love the bomb and to stop worrying. "Gentleman, no fighting in the war room"!
