Thread: Worldbuilder?

  1. #1

    Worldbuilder?

First of all: is there a Worldbuilder in Civ 5? Second: if there is how do access it? Third: can I access it during a normal game?

Any comments would be helpful because my Civilization is dangerously close to being overrun by China. They have already conquered pretty much the rest of the world and I am not on good relations with them. HELP!

It is allegedly getting released in a while.

I find it sad that it isn't just shipped with the game since it's rather fun to mess about, but oh well.

Well maybe you should try and fight them or start a new game (even if just for the meanwhile until it's released).

Thanks, any idea when the modding tools will be made available?

Oh yes, no I will not abandon this Civ, I have built it from the dirt to the skyscrapers and I will fight to the death to defend this virtual world of mine. *starts weeping again after realizing again I have no life*

They're working on some bugs and issues and it should be released to the public sometime this coming week.

Hopefully, but I do find it disappointing that it was not included in the main product especially after advertising it so much.

I am sure they wanted to make sure there weren't any core game bugs with the launch. If there were, then they would have to spend time fixing the bugs, and then updating the SDK.

Now that they don't see any, they can proceed to push the SDK out. This is pretty much how most devs do it.

Though, I can't remember ever seeing devs do it in under 2 weeks. Usually it takes at least a month.

Just give them some time. I am sure the people at Firaxis are working their hardest to get it ready for us.

They have a lot on their plate right now.

I mean an undefined point in time.

I had no clue and I have no clue.

Never mind over China's threat in my Civ, I just won a diplomatic victory. But I would have used two weapons I called "Insurance of Greece's Sovereignty" (A-Bombs) if China invaded.
