Were complete opposites, you like lyrics and vocals and I like pure music since for me, lyrics really don't matter unless their something special. Also I am definatly not a Christian, i'm a athiest and why ask this?

4/10 I'm guessing we have a fair age difference as well, I thought you might be Christian because you seemed offended by some of those songs, which say some bad things about religion... Christianity included... Also, lyrics without music lose a lot of emotion. Music without good lyrics lose its meaning. IMO. I think you need both for good music...

Also in my opinion, music without lyrics always has a purpose and if anything, challenge the listener more to uncover the meanings of the song (since there's no words). Lyrics are only one layer of a grand concept but some bands (e.g the tech-death gods Blotted Science) decide to take it out of the equation and some just have them to fit the music theme and purpose to let the music drive the lyrics. Not every lyric has to be personal for the whole song to be a high standard.

Also for the other questions, i'm 16 and i'm never offended by anti-religious music. Now that's answered, now for my next song:
