    Question AI difficulty and AI contact

    I know the MP-part of Civ5 needs a lot of optimization, but a friend and I are playing together against a lot of AIs. We can't find an option to enhance the difficulty of the AIs, since this is just too darn easy. It's possible to change your "own" difficulty which I assume is the difficulty of my civilization if I leave the game (the AI takes over). Selecting "Random Personalities" is not what I'm looking for.

    Another thing that annoys me/us, is that the AI never contacts you, threatens you, demand stuff or wants to make peace / go to war by themselves when playing MP. You can completely ignore the AI throughout the game if you want

    Is it possible to change these things somewhere? Maybe in some if the .XML-files for modding? (have been looking in the GlobalDefines.xml where I found:
    <Row Name="MULTIPLAYER_HANDICAP">
    <Key>HANDICAP_PRINCE</Key>
    <Table>HandicapInfos</Table>
    which only changes the presets of my own civilizations difficulty).

    unfortenatly AI is easy no matter what level


    they are so damn DUMB!

    only thing difficutly seem to do, is desides how many clueless units you need to kill befor rolling the AI

    This is incredibly and sadly true. I haven't played much SP yet, but in MP with my buddy, we just steamroll them. We started at Prince and thought that was our problem, and so then played on the next level. Same thing just took a couple turns longer. Then we went to the 2nd hardest difficulty just out of curiosity.... saaame thing, just took a few more turns and they beat us to most if not all the wonders.

    We haven't bothered finishing a game yet because the mop up is too tedious. Turns are horribly boring for one player if he doesn't need to move his 20-30 military units much and he ends turn (since you can't do ANYTHING once you click that next turn button while you wait :/ If you really dont want players to be able to interact/play the game, at least provide an in-game minigame of poker or checkers or something for them to do while they wait!).

    So it's been 2 days, 3 games, and we're both already tired of MP. This is not good :/
