Multiple Issues - video, crashing
1.) Randomly, I will get portions of the map where the graphics go crazy. Big blocks of crazy geometry, colored black and gray. This looks like what happens when a video card goes bad, but my temps are fine, and sometimes I can play 250+ turns without seeing this. My best guess is corrupted video card memory, since the parts of the map that go bad stay there, and scrolling on the map away from that area shows no problems.
2.) With Civ and other games like it, I can start, exit to main, and restart multiple times to get a good starting point. After doing this three times, I get the graphical glitches like in #1, the game freezes up, or I crash to the desktop. This problem is repeatable... happens every time I restart for a third time.
3.) When starting a game (the leader screen with loading on the bottom), sometimes the game will freeze, and alt-tabbing to windows shows a popup that 'Civ has stopped working'.
