Any regrets getting the CE boxed version?
I love the demo and will be getting the game. My question is for those that got the boxed version of the game. I like th getting the Ce editions of things but not all. I usually like to hear people opinions before making a choice.
Please dont let this get into a debate of digital versus Boxed. I have my personal reasons why i get a physical copy and respect those that do not need or want a boxed version. I ask you respect the same for me. Thank you.

Glad I didn't get the CE version. Or else, I'd have a $100 (instead of $50) game that won't run. But then again, maybe I'd be playing with the little figurines instead.

Sorry to hear that. The demo runs great for me. Have completed a few of the 100 turns without a glitch. Seems ATI cards are not having much trouble with this game.

My buddy got the spiffy edition. Paid like almost twice as much, got himself some goodies. Now me, the 40 bucks is too much for some 'goodies'.
My retail copy is a disc, a jacket and case and an install booklet not worth looking at. The chart was good though. Pity they skipped the military units.
I had hoped for a spiffy manual, Civ IV had a manual, thought V might have a manual. Oh well, I likely could have found it had no manual if I had looked longer. The thing is, the demo so blew me away I got the fever and ran out and got the retail version
I usually go digital if there is no reason to not do so. But I also usually only buy digital from Matrix Games and Slitherine. I know them, and they are proven.
Oh well, was glad the game was 50 and not 60 70 or 80 bucks like is common.
