(Steam) Game is unavailabe
IS anyone else getting this message tried to play and I keep getting that. Tried restarting steam a few time. Finally got a message saying the steam cloud was down and that I couldn't play from that, I said OK and then it game the same unavailable message again.
Any help would be great.

I have a group of 6 playing...or trying to play...multiplayer. Thanks to the greatness of Steam, when the Steam servers go down, players get disconnected from each other and cannot hook back up.
To make matters worse, now that direct IP is gone, we can't play that way.
And even worse than that, whenever you finally can reconnect to the game, the difficulty sliders are all set to "Prince" no matter what they were at game creation. There goes handicapping for the Strong vs Weak players.
Still worse is the fact that every time the game crashes, now that the save game feature has been changed, we keep losing turns when reverting to autosaved games.
C'Mon 2K these guys at Steam are morons and they are making it very difficult on us guys who play this multiplayer. Our games on CIV 4 typically lasted us about a week. Now you factor in the lack of saving with Steam incompetence, and you have 0 fun.

I thought Steam was so great and it would even cook you dinner (at least that's what the fanboys keep saying). Funny how it suddenly prevents legitimate buyers from playing whereas all the pirates will be able to play whenever they want, beginning probably in a few days.
Can someone remind me again what the benefits of Steam were?
