So is this where we report issues for the Civ V MP Alpha Test?

I hope so. Firaxis has a lot of work to do...

What you mean related to the MP game browser? Lack of ability to do anything but autosaves? Private games that don't allow for invites? Or ... ?

I am somewhat shocked a Civ game could be released in such a poor state. But perhaps I just have too high hopes for the fun series.

Kind of reminds me of Revolution on the PS3. The multiplayer was broken for a good 3 months, compeltely unplayable, couldn't even join a game.

Firaxis/2k blamed Gamespy, Gamespy said nothing. A patch came out and fixed it, but by that time everyone had moved on from the game.

I blame Gamespy for multiplayer issues. I've never had an issue free game with any title when Gamespy had something to do with it.

yeah this whole 'release and patch' practice needs to stop.

I'm sure most developers read negative remarks like "i'm not buying your next game/expansion/dlc because of this" as bs.. but sometimes it's not..

I feel Civ V is right on that edge, where it is playable or not for release. Any more bugs/jitters i'd say we were playing beta...

They still have a lot of work to do on the game, lets hope their patch releases are timely.

If I remember well I used the steam invite and it worked.

Good point--what *does* Gamespy have to do with this multiplayer, anyway?
