Has anyone else out there gotten tired of the xbox live rep system. I mean I play all the time and its gotten to the point where people are giving each other bad reviews just because they are angry. For instance played gears of war match where I was able to take out the entire oposing team a couple times and THEY ALL GAVE ME BAD REVIEWS. Its as if now you have to let people win or they will trash your rep. Anyone find a way to get around this?
The whole rep system needs to be fixed. I played gears for a while, and one person gave me a good review.... and then I haven't been reviewed since. It's the other side of the spectrum, sure, but just as bad. I could be a total jerk, but still have 5 stars as long as nobody reviews me. I'm sorry that that happened to you, the only thing I can suggest is to ask people (nicely) to rate you.
I only have 3.25 Rep because I only played online 2 times, one was playing Halo 2, and the other was because I wanted an achievement on NHL 2007.
Rep doesn't matter, if it bugs you, then it's your problem. Rep doesn't prevent you from playing games in any way, the only thing it will do is avoid getting a game with someone on your bad rep list, or someone who gave you bad rep, therefore, you have nothing really to complain about.
I give bad rep to team killers and quiters only, and I do it rarely.

yea, I read an article on the rep/complaint system a while back in the OXM, and even while trying to get booted or locked for being a douche, it didn't work. The guy had 5% rep, and tons of complaints, but still didnt get his account locked. The reason? He had only done things to annoy the people, not anything that was a breach of ToS.
Xbox Lives reps will monitor your account if you recieve a ton of complaints, and if they see a reason for locking they will. If you're innocent, you will get no penalties.
I think the whole rep system is kinda funny because it's actually a good idea. It would be a great system if everyone who used it was mature and responsible with how they used it. I hate it when I'm playing aginst a clan in a game, then afterwards I check my rep and see that all of the players in the clan gave me bad feedback for no reason. If people acted like they actually had a brain and used it like it was ment it would be a great system.
