Can't issue long travel distance orders / Build Roads far away

I'm not sure if this is a bug or intentional - but everytime I try to order a unit to move outside of a one move range it goes to the maximum of the one turn range and sits there - regardless of how many turns pass(and doesn't say a unit is awaiting orders). I'm also having an issue with building roads in general - playing in team games I can't seem to easily build roads to city-states or my teamate in MP - I have to build it every tile or two and just keep doing it manually. It's really a huge hastle - I assumed it might have just been a personal issue - but the people I was in the game with(multiple games as well) said they also have the issue!

In the worker menu, select build road to. It will be a green hex, then click on where you want them to build the road to.

Yes, I know HOW to do it - but half the time it won't allow me to build the road(IE: I left click on the hex I want him to build to and he won't start working) or he randomly stops the work for no reason(no impassable location, no units, etc etc).

Are you using direct x 9? There seems to be something broken in the direct x 9 line that auto orders seem to fail. She was saying the same thing, we just gave up and bought a new card for her.

My group of friends I play with have noted the issue as well. I'm using DX11 and have two SLI cards(way above minimum and rec standards) the people I play with whom are also noting the problem have varying hardware but are also way, way above system specs.

Same issue here, using DX9 even though I should be able to use DX10.
