    Historical Inconsistencies

    I am somewhat diapponted.

In the new game despite all the claims Ramesses speaks Arabic rather than ancient egyptian, Darius speaks Arameic instead of Persian, and Arab special traits and building are caravans and bazaar, which are both persian and they could use Souq for bazaar and I am sure there would be a good substitute for caravans. These are the inconsistencies I could make out. I am not familiar with a lot of other languages that were used so they could be messed up to.

PS If Darious speaks Arameic due to its usage as central language during the Achemenid rule, then Suleiman should be speaking Arabic or Persian. I wonder what would the babylonian leader speak????

I do hope you realize you're talking about a game in which you can beat up George Washington as Ghandi.

Ghandi was actually kind of a bastard on a personal level.

Okay if it's that much of a problem go find us someone who speaks the exact same Egyptian language that was spoken 4000 years ago.

No one really knows what ancient Egyptian sounded like, Darius spoke more Aramaic than Farsi, and all of this has already been discussed and rehashed already... today.

Check out the other threads and post in them if you want to discuss this.
