Anyone else watch and love this movie? Kinda' sad... makes you realize that if there were super heroes, they would still be Human, and have their own issues.

It's a good adaptation of the comic, though it's not 100% perfect. I have to say the comic was better, the same with the earlier adaptation of V for Vendetta (by the same writer). But, it was good for something that wasn't a mainstream comic book adaptation like Batman or Superman or Spiderman.
In several years, the Watchmen movie will be an all time classic that flopped. Like Blade Runner.
It's my favourite graphic novel! (Until I read the one someone did about Truman Capote that is)
i did not even relise it was a comic when i watched it![]()
Ozymandias is the best; hands down!!!
Watchmen is one of my favorite movies. No matter how many times I watch it, it's always enjoyable. It's clever, interesting and visually stunning. I agree with the comparison to Blade Runner. This movie could possibly become a cult classic.
The comic books are great as well but the game isn't that good.
I love the music the played in it. I even had the soundtrack for a bit.
...I love Bob Dylan's The Times they are a-Changin' and The Sound of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel. Two artists who've won my respect from Watchmen.
I loved the movie.
However, watching the movie on its own is not enough. Go get yourself the ultimate edition, with deleted scenes. The cut scenes will make you understand the movie a whole lot more and make it much, much more enjoyable.
It'd make an awesome Friday night, I'm tellin' you that.
Banhammer? What?
I still don't understand. Forgive me....!
Anyways, if you've read Watchmen, then it's all the MORE reason to watch the ultimate edition. It's more like the book.
Except for the bit where they changed the ending....
.....I know a lot of people who liked it... honestly I agree with you, and am pleased someone agrees with me about Black Freighter.
BF always sort of reminded me of Bioshock.... with its sea... and dead bodies. Haha.
It's handled better in the movie... because it's not there. They released it as a separate DVD with a mockumentary called "Under the Hood", with Hollis Mason.
I have a signed copy of Watchmen. Moore and Gibbons signed it.
I thought it'd be better but it shows the work that went into making the film.
Mark my words:
It'll be as big as Blade Runner... one day.
I must admit.... before Bioshock, it was Watchmen.
In fact, as I played Bioshock 1 for the first time, I drew up a comic in which Ryan turned around upon your first physical encounter of him, and is revealed to be Rorschach.
Even when I played Bioshock, I was obsessed with Watchmen. It's a powerful franchise!
I went and read the comic right before watching it. Loved both. Great characters, great story.
