Looks interesting, definitely on my list next year. Amongst them, the next COD (Activision has one coming out every year), the next GTA (Rumored to have a launch date somewhere in 2011) and obviously this.

I would assume its more like Heavy Rain or something like that than GTA.

Yep, looks interesting, playing the roll of a detective could be fun and the Film Noir setting and atmosphere are really cool (I love the movie The Black Dahlia, check it out.) But that Jazz already gets on my nerves whem looking at the trailer! AND They have been working and delaying at this game ever since atleast 2005.
I mean come on! get with it already!

Hope it doesnt end up like "This is Vegas" which got cut off even after investing millions and millons of dollars in it.

R* isnt going to do Mafia properly.. they are p..publishing a game called LA Noire (Noir?) made by an Australian developer called Team Bondi.

Mafia was already done properly, in 2002 by a company c..called Illusion Softworks .

I have no doubt Rockstar would make a awesome game and would not repeat the mistakes of 2K

And they will earn much more money with 1 completed game than 2K with 100 Mafia 2 DLC's
