I still remember the morning afterward, Sept. 12. I was in the fourth grade. Everyone at school was talking about something "bad" that had happened in New York. I thought that it was a plane accident, and I said, "Well, that's not too bad." My teacher, of course, reprimanded me, and told me to talk to my parents if I wanted to know more.
Sad memories ...![]()
What's even sadder is that people make jokes about it

Ah, that's sad to hear. I was bullied as well throughout elementary school.
My fondest memory is actually of losing a close friend of mine. (Yes, I know that that sounds strange.) She grew "tired" of me in the fifth grade, and began to shun me whenever I tried to initiate a conversation with her. She became catty, constantly sniping at me and tearing me down, and that's how I knew that she was no longer my friend. She and I have not spoken since the eighth grade, and I have no regrets for losing her friendship.

@BBS Huh... That's not the greatest thing I've ever heard >.>
@Dan And you happened to be the lucky target? Sucks..
I think that having separate schools for different grades is a good idea. It gives students the chance to restart and move on after they go through nasty bullying experiences at school.
I was quite happy to leave my elementary school and all of its associated bad memories behind.![]()
