Hey everyone.

If you're having an achievement problem, please post it here, post as many details as possible, and please remember to post what platform you're playing on.

It seems some of these problems might be solvable, but some definitely seem buggy. If you read through this thread, you might find an answer to the particular achievement problem you're having.

Hopefully, having them all in one place will help 2K fix whatever the problems are.

I have played thru this game twice now and the first time I played thru on normal and the second time I played thru on hard. I just finished and got no hard achievement. I clicked replay a chapter and played thru the whole thing. I didn't really watch any of th cutscenes has I had already watched them all. Also I checked each chapter in the replay chapter screen and I had a gold symbol next to all of them. I don't understand y I didn't get the achievement. Has anyone else had this problem? Also I tried replaying the last part 4 times and I tried clearing my xbox cache and none of that worked. Has there baan any word on if they are patching this or not?

Well i just got it I pressed new game and played thru the first lvl on hard again and got it.

I just completed Mafia 2 in the Hard Difficulty setting, and I haven't gotten my 'Tough Nut' achievement. Each mission that I have completed, has the emblem next to it, meaning I completed it in the Hard Difficulty.

Can anyone help?

you have to start a new game on Hard and play through to the credits

replaying each mission one by one on hard won't unlock it...

I just beat Mafia 2 for xbox 360 on hard difficulty. I watched all the credits and all. And It didn't give me the achivment for completeing the game on hard.

I collected the 50 Playboy magazines (during my second playthrough) but I didn't get the achievement. Does anyone know what can I do to get the achievement?

on mafia 2 i completed chapter 3 & 4+ i delivered the coupons in time, but i didn't get my achievement on steam?
anyone else got this probleme?
will this be patched up soon?

I have finished my second playthrough on hard difficulty earlier today, the credits rolled and the achievement was no where to be seen, I am not sure why this happened but my only guess could be that I reloaded the first chapter on hard and continued the game on hard from there. Was I supposed to have made a completely new game and play it from there?

Two days ago I finally complete the game, I collect only 158 Wanted Posters and all 50 Playboy magazine, the problem is... I got the Card Sharp Achievement pop up and I didn't get the Ladies Man.

I already tried start a new game to collect all the Playboys again, but looks like it only spawn once, because I didn't found them anymore

Can someone tell me wth is going on? lol

Same here but with the Wanted Posters. Ive collected them all but the game says im still missing 20 of them so i went back to the locations of the 20 and the posters were gone because i had collected them, 20 Posters away from the platinum and dissapointed.

So I got the last playboy at the Observatory (final area) but I didn't get my achievement. Go to Game Statistics it says 50/50 playboys. Check the Collectibles and they are ALL there. Need some help seeing how this and the Wanted posters are my FINAL achievements...

you have to start a new game and play through it on hard. Or else it won't work.

I just did, none of them have stars now, I even went through them twice..

Still no achievement... Only thing that I can see that went wrong was that the last one I grabbed i died immediately afterwards... but still wtf

i have completed it on hard difficulty, when i go onto select chapter it shows all chapters completed on hard and yet i havent got the achievement

I just finished on Hard difficulty too and didn't get Tough Nut and Made Man achievements unlocked

I did start a story from start on hard, so I didn't replay any missions on a higher difficulty.

EDIT2: I just did "Continue Story" and did the last fight again, then skipped the last cut scene and then I had the achievements afterall. Donno if something was fixed or not, or that he just didn't recognise me finishing the story the first time. I got Finish Him, Made Man and Tough Nut now.

okay i have just recieved the dreaded wanted poster glitch...i used a meticulous checklist/strategy guide and i hunted them all down and viewed all the ones on the list ..it says im still missing 8 or 9 i wrote them down returned to their location and they are not there...has anyone found a way around this / a patch? thanks to all who reply

i have collected all the wanted posters but the game says i have collected 158/159. and the only poster left is #87. i located the same using a video but the poster has disappeared from its location reason being i had already collected it. any help would be appreciated.
p.s. i was able to unlock all other achievements without any trouble.

I find it a little ironic this achievement is glitched, I take it nobody in their right mind wanted to bug test this stupid thing.

Hello I have just bought the game of mafia 2 for playstation 3 and inside the box me a code comes to unload the complement " the betrayal of jimmy " but when I deposit the code he says that the code already was secondhand! Jimmy's Vendetta on Xbox360:

I have a problem with the "Kill 1000 enemys-achievement". I already killed about 1500 and I even have more than 1000 critical hits, but still no achievement.
I already cleared my cache, removed and reinstalled Jimmiy's Vendetta and I tried to start a new game on a new save but still no luck.

Any tips on what I could try?

@2K: Please develop a patch as soon as possible. The DLC ruined the overall experience of this game anyways, but achievements not unlocking is absolutely unacceptable ...

I'm just another one reporting problems with the Explorer achievement on the Xbox 360. 1,012 miles on a single file for Jimmy's Vendetta, but no achievement. I've had a lot of problems with freezing along the way, so I'm sure you can imagine the frustration I had while playing for 23 hours, with 14 of those hours being pure grinding for this one achievement.

I completed Mafia 2 a few days after it came out and I'm now re-playing Jimmy's Vendetta but I can see I'm missing some achievements:
(PC Version)

Made Man
Finish the story on Medium difficulty level or higher.
EDiT: This triggered when I replayed chapter 2 again and I was hoping the rest would also but they didn't...

Wake Up Call:
Help Leo out of a tricky situation without getting caught.
EDiT: Sorry I did not do this correctly the first time so I replayed the chapter and it triggered. DONE

Men at Work:
Complete Chapter 14.
EDiT: I loaded chapter 15 again. DONE

Finish Him:
Finish what you started
EDiT: I had to do chapter 15 all over to trigger this but now it's DONE

I'm guessing these lost achievement triggers might be due to the steam servers being down while I played the final 2 chapters. What else explanation can there be?

It's not the end of the world and they might trigger if I replay but here is my experience posted ...

Wrong. You can just start a new game, play through the very first mission on hard, and then the achievement pops. Done. No second playthrough on hard.

so it happened when i was saving the game and now i have to restart even first chapter,
so there are here anyone who can give me his savegame to make me no restart? i was at the 11 chapter...

I have issues with achievement "Driftin' Daddy-O" in Joe's Adventures on PC. First I got 208 points for my drift, but no Steam achievement popped up, next I got 245 points - still no achievement.
It seems this is a massive problem, this thread in Steam forums confirms it.
Please fix it.
