Btw judge why arent you accepting my challenge u to rybow i think im ready to fight u guys. i been beat by rybow / Klutch/venom/ and r3d monkey lol i wany to see if i got what it takes
erm....hmmm.... no lol sorry water, I dont like things like that, and its not the I will loose it just seems kinda silly to me, I dont feel I have too prove myself to anyone, I do my best and thats that for me....

imho 1on1 is pretty dumb in this multiplayer. the skill of players is seen in his killing speed through a whole match of free for all with 10 enemies, not in the luck of stabbing from behind first and stuff like that. the one who is able to challenge more enemies at once has the upperhand. but i dont own a ps3 so i can neither accept your challenge :P

aldo we have to change the rules a litle like for example at Sotf we wil play the 1 that gets the first 5 or 10 kills
becuase 20 would take way to much time xD
oh and I would love to play CTS 1on1 its fun exspecially when you opponent is a daddy
just invite me but give me time to edit my loadout

One versus one just seems sort of lame to me. Maybe if a whole bunch of good players fought against one another, but going against one person doesn't show much skill.

The thread title says, "Let's test our skills"...and yet, when we went 1 on 1...you blinded me with bees, used homing grenades (which require no aim...which comes hand in hand with "skill"), and completely immobilized me with TK.
That's not skill...that's you being lazy and not needing to fight or put out any effort. Sorry, but a 1v1 match would be a lot more exciting if it were...fair.

And all this spam of "1v1" doesn't prove anything. The game is meant to be fun, but of course, you'll have your occasional children try to taunt you with so, to boost their ego virtually. No one is friendly, and when you reject their offer of one versus one, they continue to explain to their friends that you are not a good player. Though people will have their own personalities, as such with adolescents, it's extremely annoying, and doesn't push anyone that has the right mental capacity to call you a wimp when you don't want to play against someone else single handedly. Don't act innocent.

To tell you the truth, I don't think 1v1 matches are fair anyway...considering after you kill the person, you can technically spawn kill.
1 versus 1 matches are exciting if I'm having fun, and I never use them to measure skill...but I accept invites to see who has fast reflexes and such, but if it has constant spamming and whatnot, it's not worth the hassle, considering I do challenges for fun.
It's also there's no element of surprise in it. You know you're fighting this one person that does this, so you're going to counter with what, bee's and homing grenades? Give me a break, or even throwing barrels at them. Just does not prove anything, and is far from ever being fun with competitive individuals trying to prove .... something.
this is the reason i only play bs2 online because it actually fun and unique.
this is also why i will never play cod ever again because it ALL about 1v1 and who is better. cod games are not fun anymore
You are right there with it being unique and fun, but most people that played it, don't like the fact of being oneshot for starters. I don't know any other reasons why people don't like this Multiplayer, since it was simply amazing itself, to counteract other players' combo's, but I've heard around the reason I gave is one famous indicator. I've also seen COD/MW Multiplayer in action, and it just seems like any other ...
That's probably why people are more prone to play games such as that, where you aren't able to be oneshot by such a simple way. Other games such as GTAIV allow you to oneshot someone with an RPG, but at least you have time to run before it reaches you, and not out of the blue get obliterated by the blast, or it's just because it's modern day type of combat, and people are more attracted to that style, instead of uniqueness, holding powers of plasmids at your disposal ... who knows.

If it's a no plasmid match you can't use aero dash

That's why he said he likes to see people's reflexes to certain situations. Limiting the game to not using plasmids is trying to test "skill", in which cases is not having fun, and trying to prove yourself otherwise then holds some doubts.
ok ill do no plazmid matches 1 on 1 from now on lol there is nothing cheep in regular guns
the best way to have fun in this game is to play with your friends in cts sotf or whatever yo like to play

1v1 do not prove anything really because normall there would be 9 other players....

She did pretty much the same against Daddy last night. She challenged him to a no stun HS match and she came in TK'ing and using homing nades on him. She also suicided.
That being said, always bring a witness to these matches. Someone who won't get involved, but can verify what really went on in that match. Chances are the loser will make up all kinds of lies to cover why they lost.
I'll definitely have to do that. In fact, I normally have witnesses, and I'll make sure to do it from now on...considering the fact that she's telling people that she beat me.
(To Wateraja) - The match is invalid. Nobody won or lost...considering a match was not finished and an agreement on fairness was not established.

I don't care for 1v1 'cause it would take hours to set up the ground rules.
I would not want to get into a 1v1 with a GL user, I would just quit the game and say "yep, you're better then me."
