Co-op?

Hello,

From what I've seen of this game, it looks well worth the money.

Only thing I'd want to know. Is there going to be co-op? and if so, please allow up to 4 players.

Left For Dead 2 was an amazing co-op fun with zombies and that, and this game has Aliens or something. Now that beats Zombies hands down, and this game looks to beat LFD2 so why not a Co-op to really blow this outta the water

Only problem now is the specs :S what they going to be :S

Specs won't come out until a month or two before release. We'll know the release date a good while before we get the specs, that's just how 2K works.

As for co-op... I'm not so sure it's a good idea. It would severely detract from the needed AI for the squad to keep the game from being 100% separated from X-Com legacy gameplay. It would definitely detract from dynamic squad controls and the intelligence of the AI of the two (another reason you can't have 4 person co-op, there's only 3 squad members at any one time - though this is just going by the info we have thus far. Maybe the squad amount can increase? I don't know) squad members you take with you.

I don't know if it would work for this particular game :S

If it had such things as interchangeable agents (As in, expendable characters) It might actually be a bit fun to have co-op, if only to brag to your friends that you managed to survive the mission and they die.

It'd at least give me a bit of re-playability even at this time, as many seem to cut coop out more often then naught.
