Would loading a chapter after you beat the game make you lose any progress?

Would loading a chapter after you beat the game make you lose any progress?

Let's just say I load to chapter 13, but I had a 1956 Bel-air(Shubert beverly) in the garage before then, would I lose the car and the pimpin' I did to it?
Would I have to look for those magazines all over again?

Unfortunately,I'd say yes,it does.At least thats what it says when you try to load the chapter.It really sucks.I want to collect magazines and stuff but to do so ive got to sacrifice a few chapters and then do them again.

No you don't lose anything, like when I go collect playboy magazines as soon as I got them all in that chapter I quit it and load the next one and nothing happens to the magazines. Also it saves everything you did in that chapter like in the second chapter I had a shotgun with no ammo with me then after I beat the game and loaded it again I had the exact same shotgun with no ammo.

Also all my cars were in the same condition as before.

No you don't lose anything, like when I go collect playboy magazines as soon as I got them all in that chapter I quit it and load the next one and nothing happens to the magazines. Thats a smart way how to do that.But what if game autosaves during the chapter? Will i lose my progress then? (It may sound dumb after your post,but the message in game really says you lose it all)

1. Which chapter would you recommend using for free-roam(in the 50s) after I beat the game.

2.And when you get a magazine, and when it saves and then you quit, when you load back will you be in the same place where that magazine was?

1. Basically after playing through just find the one with the best weather that you like or play any mission where Joe is automatically with you, or don't play anyone where it forces you to do something.

2. It doesn't work like that, yes if you get a magazine it saves but when you load that chapter you will start from the beginning of the chapter, if you click continue story you will start on the last mission automatically I think. (I'll go test the continue story later)

OK,thanks, would the magazine save any cars you got? Which chapter is nice and sunny and where you can be alone is the best to free roam in. 12 or 13?
