2K Games International had a brief chat with Tarl Raney from Yager Development at gamescom last week. He's the Associate Producer on Spec Ops: The Line, and he talks a bit about the setting and the story in the video.

I'm still loving the dynamic moral choice aspects that are being hinted at for the SP. It sounds like the depth and re-playability of the game is going to be something that sets it apart from most shooters.
Thanks so much for posting the interview, David! Any new news or interview is more than welcome for this game![]()
Great interview, thanks for posting it David![]()
good interview and yes I do like the fact that whatever you decide to do in a certain mission it can ultimately change the aspect of the overall game.
in the video he metioned a demo which ended with a choice. was this an e3 demo or something cuz i cant find it anwhere. could someone post a link to where i could find it
No demo has been posted yet. We've been told we'll be getting it eventually.
I knooooow. I really have been wanting to see it since it was mentioned at E3. I do believe making puppy eyes at Liz at the time got her to suggest a walkthrough video of it for the rabid fans who just want more info on what looks to be an awesome game
Maybe with the release of Mafia II over with and the impending release of Civ V we might see some more of Spec Ops and XCOM over the next little while. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and keeping my metaphorical puppy eyes aimed directly at David... Then there's the cookie bribes that I keep sending to 2k. One of these days they will have the desired effect![]()
im just hoping that they release some sort of gameplay video or somethin sooooon! the e3 trailer made me want more!
My favorite quote was right at the beginning "concentration on narrative, with a dark mature story that we want to tell in a unique setting.. Dubai"
2k David ... Can you say if the moral choices will have the same effect like alpha protocol did when making choices in the game?
Thanks for posting the interview as well
