The way i see it Joe probably isn't dead. If you notice Vito's face you know he's shocked but also seem to have something in mind. Kinda wish the DLC would tie in with the ending.Originally Posted by oxtune

I get the same feeling Joe is still alive. I'd bet on it actually.
my take on it is Joe unfortunatley became the fall guy for all that vito AND joe had done. Leo could call in a favor for Vito and explain his reasons but Leo has no reason to save Joe. Kinda like they get to take out all thier anger for the situations that have been caused out on Joe. If Vito goes to rescue Joe then Vito is as good as dead anyway. He could never show his face in the city again.

i would think that Joe is alive... cuz we never at the end hurt a gun shot or they did not show the dead Joe... and Vito is going to do something.. probably pull a gun on Leo... who knows... but i think the Mafia 3 would start as Vito saves Joe or Joe saves him self.. and then they get together and start killing the family... every one .. and they will be the family and become most powerful mafia
They way I look at it is that Vito has taken every fault and **** up for Joe and then Joe takes the ultimate **** up.
Of course Joe is dead. I like the fact that they don't show it like they did in the Sopranos it leaves it up to our imgaination
How can you be shure hes dead? Joe was like with 2 guys in that car, 1 driving it and 1 TALKING to him while they turned, Joe could have noticed that and easily take care of those 2 guys.
I knew as soon as Joe got in the other car he was screwed.
I didn't like the fact that it cut off, i always hate when they do that especially in video games but hopefully some dlc will answer some question
