2k Please make this game great

I am begging you guys to make this game great. 2K David I know you are the only one who responds on here. This game grabbed my interest from the very first moment I saw screenshots. Then when I saw a trailer, i watched it so many times. I hope you do something different than most shooters, you know the ones i am speaking of. Give us an multiplayer or co-op unlike any other shooter out there. If you make co-op please make team work a must, can't stand those people who like to try and be rambo.

David I am keeping my eyes closely on this game, and have faith in you, please don't rush this on, take all the time you need and make it the best and most innovative shooter on the market.

Why is everyone so focused on the mp/co-op? I mean sure, if done well it will be epic, but... What about SP?

I agree, while loving the MP I simply cannot wait for an awesome SP experience. Most games that I love the SP is what I remember the most. I love the idea of moral choices and great story. If it came to a choice I would be totally content with no MP.

the simple fact of the matter Rapture is that MP gaming has overtaken the SP side of gaming. I know for many its sad to admit but it is true and many core gamers may play the SP and then quickly trade the game in if their is no solid MP content to back the game. Myself I enjoy both, but I must admit that I almost always look for any type of shooter to have a solid online component or else it might not be worth the 60 dollar price tag. However, if the SP campaign is deep and rewarding than that completely changes the situtation.

I can certainly see that trend, however most of my favorite games are still SP Oblivion, Fallout 3, Bioshock. I don't mind the addition of MP as long as it doesn't result in a hollow SP experience. Which, it almost always does. Even when publishers promise that it won't and they will still have a vast SP it is rarely the case.

Well i think this game is going to knock the ball out of the park, and end up being a hell of a game.

Single player gives you enough content for one or two play throughs of a game, where multiplayer gives you a different experience every time you play, especially a robust multiplayer with ladders, tournaments, both in game and through other sites like Gamebattles and Fragged Nation.A very good multiplayer game will draw lots of people in,forming communities around the game, giving competitive players a place to play.Multiplayer will keep players interested in the game long after the single player portion is completed.

I'm not trying to bash the single player experience and the gamers who enjoy them,I just like getting my money's worth, and 10-15 hours of gameplay isn't worth $60 to me,which is part of the reason I enjoy multiplayer more than single player.

That is a misconception, games with a vast SP experience (Fallout 3) or astounding story (Bioshock) will keep me coming back every-time.

The problem I have with most MP experiences is they are very similar. Everyone runs around frantically shooting or sits in a corner popping off head shots at people. I think if anything MP is rarely a different experience every-time.

I agree with you 100%, I love a great single player experience better than any experience multiplayer can provide. However, I still love the multiplayer aspect of gaming. Truth is now for developers to sell lots of games, and have players not trade in their games, then if people hold onto a game longer they will get more people to purchase DLC, they need multiplayer. I mean I know SP games can sell well, but more profit for the 2K will come from creating a great multiplayer experience in with a great single player experience.
