just thought i'd ask because they mentioned in a article on a different website that the main character (vito) and his fat friend were spoofs of 2 characters from the goodfellas movie

i'm not mad or anything. i was just wondering why it was such a big deal but now i see why you were surprised. i don't pay attention to a certain game until 2 or 3 months before it comes out so i don't know some of the characters names

Mintz hit it right on the dot.. and I think that's what they were kinda goin for. In a Mafia 2 developer note.. it said that Joe's kinda the guy who acts before he thinks.. who did that? Tommy. Henry's the top dog, the smart guy. Who was that?, Jimmy. and yeah Vito is Henry Hill. it's gonna be awesome.

Vito cant be Henry Hill since Henry never killed anyone in the movie. Also he was half Irish without an Italian last name, and therefor couldn't be "made".

Tommy- Henry Hill- obvious reasons (witness protection program)
Paulie- Tommy- hot-headed, got what was comin to him
Sam- Jimmy- Paranoid, took care of possible squealers
Don Salieri- Paul Cicero- He looks just like him

Sam looked and (towards the ending of mafia) acted more like tommy(pesci's character) and when he robbed that bank it showed he wanted more for himself and lost his cool then the inevitable happened.. He was killed which is almost similar to when henry, brought in jimmy and tommy to help him sell coke behind the bosses back. Except no one was killed but paulie C did turn his back on henry when he found out.

WOW to many spoilers lol but it helps not to spoil you mooks incase you havent seen the film yet which if not youre crazy cause its a very good movie.

Its been awhile since i played the first game. Last time i played it was a yr ago.

Yeah i still got the game and i watched GF twice(right now) watching it on spiketv again. I really love the movie its what the mob really is none of this fantasy bull****, it is what it is.
