it is just for marketing purposes or it is taken from a bio2 test demo
It might have been multiplayer.
It's a screenshot from the time they were making the game. They couldn't finish the game and work on the rest after that .. they were over time already so to save time they just used some shots.

False. Paupers Drop is the first place you can obtain the shotgun, but not the only place. Later in the game many splicers are equipped with the shotgun and Delta may take it from the dead bodies.
