lol, crying, sorry but I dont bend over for companies. I pay over 100 dollars for my games and I demand quality. The analysis from DG for instance concludes that the console versions are extremely sub-par and unacceptable. I dont pay 100 dollars to get a damn fps of 18 20% of the time. Guys like you are too uncritical of quality and thats why crap like COD is so popular and is destroying the gaming society.

Lol you pay over 100 dollars for your games? are you from Australia?. Also you guys are over reacting beyond proportions. Seriously have you ever been a PC gamer?, probably not. We get crappy console ports all the time, and our games ruined time and time again. This happens on a continual bases and for you guys getting only ONE game ruined while we get TONS of games ruined on a continual bases you guys are reacting like you get treated as us PC gamers do.
omg, I cant believe I just read that. Yes, I have been a PC gamer and I dont know what you are talking about. Ironically enough you are probably one of those guys crying over BF3 going to PS3 and Xbox and stupidly believing consoles will drag it down...Do you even know that many times developing on consoles can even make PC games better. And yes this has been stated. And how the hell can you get a console port, all games are made on PC....

Personally, I think the PS3 gamers should stop complaining.
1.) I don't know all of the problems with it but I know a large majority of the people have made a big issue over grass and blood puddles. I think the grass looks fine in the PS3 version. It looks better in 360 and PC, but...oh well. Deal with it.
2.) You guys get everything! For a alot of the games I got, Ps3 gamers got bonus content just for playing on PS3! Like in Assassins Creed 1,

Fighting on the forums is pointless. I'm just saying. Knowing 2K, they'll have a valid solution to this problem soon after release. Until then I think PS3 gamers should stop plaguing the forums with complaints...but thats what the forums for i guess. Everyone puts their 2 cents in. Same here, my friend. I played on 360 and thought it was the best thing ever. But then I came here, went to gamefaqs, and now I find myself bothered by jaggies for the first time in my lifecan't wait for this game!! and im a ps3 user!!!!

A console port is they make the game for consoles first and when they develop for the consoles in mind, example: Modern Warfare 2, low player count, p2p match making system, horrible gameplay, no lean, no dev console. GTA4: horrible optimization on most peoples high end systems.
A port could also be explained as this, they make the console game first, examples like I said above low player count and such and then instead of making a proper PC version, they put in mouse and keyboard support and ship it, instead of putting, mod tools, lean, big maps, and a higher player count.
Also saying that consoles can't drag down BF3 is dumb, what if they do the above, make small maps, low player count, no jets because consoles don't handle it and instead of making a proper PC version they just keep it as is. That's what PC gamers are worried about like most games do.
Also Crysis 2 is going down this road, they have shown no videos of PC footage, except the 3D trailer at E3 and an IGN video of them playing crysis 2 pc version with a controller and microsoft told them to take it down. So it looks like that's another franchise going to the consoles. So there are countless examples of this, these are just the very few. It's funny that you say that you don't bend over to companies but completely ignore the companies not caring about PC gaming like it is not existent.
Well can you give a link of the analysis? I want to see if all the reaction from PS3 owners is really as bad as they make it out to be.

Jesus Entropy, shut up. There's nothing wrong with the PS3 version in my eyes. My desktop sucks beyond whatever you play on, so lag, no grass, no blood puddles, "bad" graphics, are not a problem. Even if the game crashes, I won't care. Try buying a 6 year old computer and playing Mafia 2 or any other modern game. It's not gonna work, you have to play Half Life 2 Episode 1, many other crappy games. You guys need to stop complaining, because this game is amazing. Thank you, 2K games, for trying your best to make the PS3 version, and helping out a new company in the process (should I be thanking Massive Bear?).

Im a PS3 owner and i cannot wait for this game, loved the demo, shame about the timer and space, i just wanna explore everything! Also i cannot wait for my War Hero Pack! Driving in that jeep will be awesome!

ive been waiting for this game since the autumn of 07, it was a calm night... also mafia 2 was still going to be a sandbox game back then which is the only reason i got into it but im in it for the long haul now.
