PC is probably the best option for any open world (well really, any) game because of the cheats, hacks, mods, etc. etc.. You just need to have REALLY good graphics, CPU, sound, RAM to enjoy it to the full.
Getting it for my 360, because i need some games on it! Only got RDR, Saints Row games, and MW2. And i like the kinda fake but nice lighting and shadows
Ok, let's be serious for a sec... Yes the xbox should be able to handle a game like mafia 2, with anti aliasing and few or no screen tearing... But so also does the ps3.
The problem is they don't run nice, nor the xbox, nor the ps3 version, this all due a lack of good programming skills.
Sad story if you ask me, ruining the game of the year like that

If I have a choice. I pick PS3 due to the DLC.
Other than the blood, cloth, grass. Both versions look same, are sharing aliasing issues, tearing, unstable frame rate the textures look a bit flat on both versions.
edit: I got it wrong. the poll is which hardware is better, not which version is better

well im a ps3-user and dont own a 360, but i have tried both versions of mafia 2 demo. i think overall 360 version looks better. i cant say that i experienced any frame rate issues on ps3, but i must say it looked like crap
screen-tearing, bad anti-aliasing and jaggies
shame really, i was really looking forward to this game. i dont have a high-end pc unfortunately. but i will buy a used copy for ps3 and play it nontheless

I have both Consoles and the Demo SUCKS on both. Its an Shame for an AAA Title. Get it on PC - you donīt need an High End System and you can play it with the Xbox360 Controller!

but i dont understand why they took out so many thinks from the ps3 version?
if they dont can handle the the physix engine and grafic they have to cancel it!

take out the cloth movement stuff, it looks cool but you dont need it.
That wouldn't help the PS3 users, because none of their cloth moves. Oh well, the PS3 users should just deal with it and stop crying.

Well not to be a PS3 whiner, but when using the raincoat it looks extremely bad, but you can always just not wear a raincoat though.
But when i played through the demo i didn't notice the grass and blood, and I'm usually a nitpicker, when i played it through again i was like, "Oh no grass... Oh well"

Yep your right I am, as a PC user I know how it feel to get 99% of our games shafted, dumbed down console ports, and abandoning us for consoles. We get crap all the time and no one cares, fine w/e. But as soon as the PS3 gets a crappy port they all whine and cry and all the gaming sites are in an uproar. The funny thing is that it is one game that got screwed, and PC gamers get most of their games shafted on a continual bases.lol i can tell you getting fed up with the whiners now.
